Senior Computational Linguist

As a Senior Computational Linguist for Vantage Linguistics, you will be an important member of our team that designs, develops, and conducts research on innovative linguistic-based technologies.
Qualifications:
  • Excellent programming skills in C++/Java including object-oriented analysis and design
  • MS or PhD in Sciences or BS with experience
  • Experience developing natural language software in a commercial environment
  • A proven track record of innovative research in an academic or commercial environment in one or more areas:
    • Information Retrieval
    • Knowledge Management
    • Natural language to SQL
    • Machine learning for natural language applications
    • Statistical parsing
  • Advantageous to have team building experience and leadership skills

Senior JAVA Developer

Vantage Linguistics is currently seeking an experienced and skilled Senior JAVA Developer to join our core application development team and play a key role in leading, developing, and implementing JAVA web applications products.
Qualifications:
  • Strong server-side Java/STRUTS/SPRING experience (3+ yrs)
  • Major contributor to multi-tier web application architecture, design, and implementation
  • Very strong knowledge of relational database design, and SQL strong OO analysis, design, and implementation (4+ yrs)
  • Very good development habits, process, and intuition
  • Leadership skills and experience with team-building activities
  • Excellent knowledge of HTML, XML, and JavaScript
  • BS or MS in Computer Science
  • SCRUM experience is a plus
  • C++ skills are a plus

Language Consultant

As a Language Consultant for Vantage Linguistics, you will serve as the language expert for software development, conduct morphological and syntactic tagging of words, and provide linguistic judgment on various assets.
Requirements:
  • Native fluency in at least one of the required languages
  • BS in Linguistics required, MS degree is advantageous
  • Excellent knowledge of morphological and syntactic rules and features
  • Strong computer skills
  • Solid problem solving skills and can-do attitude
  • Efficient and reliable worker

As a Sales Associate working from our corporate headquarters in Newtown, PA, you will serve as the primary lead generator for our iSEEK™ targeted discovery engine. You will provide web-based and live demonstrations to prospects and customers, respond to product information inquiries, assist with closing business, and provide high quality customer service while managing a growing base of corporate enterprise customers.
